| Products > Power Inductors Power Inductors ECI’s TC series of toroidal power inductors are typically used as output chokes in switching power supplies. The distributed air gap in these powdered iron cores makes them ideal for this application, as it maximizes the inductance while minimizing stray magnetic fields. ECI offers a series of low cost rod core inductors, both horizontal and vertical mount. Also offered are “covered” rod and drum core inductors.
